DIRECTIONS TO CSEA

The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention is located in the Surge area (2800 S.W. Archer Rd., Building 772), on the University of Florida‘s main campus. The University of Florida is located in North Central Florida.

Public transportation to The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention

This area (corner of Archer Rd. and Surge Area Drive) is served by the following bus routes: Route 1 and 12.

Directions from Main Campus by car

Coming from Campus, head West on Archer road towards 34th Street. You will pass a Sprint gas station, Mount Vernon Apartments, and Country Village Apartments. Take a right at Surge Area Dr.; there is a small blue and orange sign that says “University of Florida Surge Area”. (If you pass Allstate Auto Insurance on your right you have gone too far.) After turning right into the surge area, there will be a loading dock to your left. Take the next left, just before the Stop sign. Follow the curve around to the left and our Center will be directly ahead, 3036 Longleaf Rd Building 772. Free parking is available in a surface lot directly in front of the Center.

Directions from 34th Street and Archer by car

Head East on Archer Road from 34th Street. On your left, you will pass a Ghengis Grill, Cody's Roadhouse, a car wash, and Allstate Auto insurance. Take your first left after Allstate at the blue sign that says “University of Florida Surge Area” (Surge Area Dr.). After turning right into the surge area, there will be a loading dock to your left. Take the next left, just before the Stop sign. Follow the curve around to the left and our Center will be directly ahead, Building 772. Free parking is available in a surface lot directly in front of the Center.

DIRECTIONS TO MAIN CAMPUS BY CAR:

From I-75

Take exit number 384 off Interstate 75. After you get off the exit, turn on Archer Road, heading East. The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention will be approximately 3 miles ahead on the left (located between 34th Street and 23rd Street).

From Jacksonville

From Jacksonville, take Interstate 10 West towards Tallahassee (for approximately 18 miles). From I-10 West, exit onto US-301 South toward Baldwin/Starke (exit number 343). From US-301 South, turn right onto FL-24W, which becomes FL-26 West/University Ave. Turn left onto US-441/SW 13th street. Turn right onto Archer Road. The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention (University of Florida Surge Area) will be after the 5th light on the right (located between 23rd Street and 34th Street).

From Highway 441 South

When traveling south on 441, travel straight until you come to Archer Road. The road will split, veer right onto Archer Road. The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention (University of Florida Surge Area) will be after the 5th light on the right (between 23rd and 34th Street).

From Highway 441 North

When traveling north on 441, you will travel straight until you come to Archer Road. Turn left onto Archer Road. The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention (University of Florida Surge Area) will be after the 5th light on the right (between 23rd and 34th street).
